Liz Alessi has been working in the world of materials and supply chain for over 20 years, beginning at Limited Brands, then Coach, Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman before beginning her own consultancy firm, fed by her passion for sustainability. During her tenure at Coach, she helped to modernize the brand through a fashion lense and initiated sustainable initiatives across categories. As part of the global leadership team, she oversaw supplier consolidation and rebranding during the acquisition of Stuart Weitzman and Kate Spade.
In her current consultancy for Coach, she reports to the Executive Creative Director, where she studies and applies innovative materials and alternative supply chain models with a focus on circularity and sustainability across all product categories. She also consults for the BVH group, giving material circularity support across all strategic initiatives. Liz studied bassoon performance at the Eastman School of Music as well as the Manhattan School of Music with continued education at Cambridge University. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her daughter and performs with Camerata Notturna.
